We’d like to announce a wonderful gift that the Carlmont Academic Foundation has received just in time for the holidays! We will be entering into a long-term funding partnership with Kenson Ventures and The Madison Group, a local development team which is proposing Catalyst Labs, Belmont’s first state-of-the-art life science campus at 601 Harbor Boulevard. The group enthusiastically approached CAF this past summer, toured the campus, met with our Principal, and engaged in several conversations with us to understand our mission of giving all Carlmont High School students a quality education.
As a result of these discussions, Kenson Ventures and The Madison Group have offered to provide $500,000 in total funding over the next 10 years: $50,000 upon approval of their project and $50,000 annually for nine years thereafter.
This relationship will create many opportunities for CAF. Upon meeting our annual budgetary goals, it will provide funding for the anticipated Wellness Center and allow us to explore additional academic pathways and programs. We are very grateful for the commitment this development group has shown to our schools and our community.
