2022-23 fundraising update
Help us reach to our annual goal of $1.1 million. we still need to raise over $200,000 by June 30th in order to maintain current levels of funding for the upcoming school year.
Why I Give
I give because I see CAF as a needed investment in our school and community that rewards us all.
It's my firm belief that ensuring our kids receive the best possible education is a step ahead for a better future. I donate because of CAF's success in funding more class choices and retaining more counselors to help navigate the college application process.
I choose to support CAF because I believe in public education and the power of community.
We support CAF to invest in ongoing enrichment activities at Carlmont. We appreciate the breadth of classes available at Carlmont and want to make sure those programs can continue.
We give to CAF because we see that our dollars are creating exciting educational opportunities for our kids and all Carlmont students. The Biotech Institute, journalism program and world language programs are three reasons that immediately come to mind.
We give to the Carlmont Academic Foundation to support the incredible work of Carlmont's teachers, counselors, and staff. Education is a priority in our family. We feel incredibly blessed to have such an excellent high school in our community.
Considering private schools are ridiculously expensive, and our district has such great schools, supporting our local education foundations, like SchoolForce and CAF, which in turn support our schools, is a no brainer.
We have been very impressed with the organization of CAF, their stewardship of our donation dollars, and we feel that investing in CAF is a great way to help support our children.
My oldest applied for college this year, and it is an overwhelming process for any student. However, he was able to have access to his counselor to ensure that he could navigate his college applications in a timely manner. This was possible due to the donations into CAF.

Our family has prioritized financially supporting CAF because we have seen the wonderful opportunities this money provides, including the instrumental music program in which both of our children have participated.
When my son started at Carlmont, I was impressed with the many programs available to him to set him up for success. It is reassuring to know he has access to support in his academics as well as for his mental health, should he need it.
