Why I Give

We are pleased to support Carlmont’s innovation, depth of outstanding opportunities, safety, and leadership for many years to come.

We donate because Carlmont is an incredible school which deserves so much more than what it gets from the government.

I strongly believe a commitment to school-wide strength is how we raise the tide of excellence and uplift the next generation.

Contributing to CAF enables Carlmont to offer the academic rigor of a private school combined with a broad range of programs within a diverse community.

Contributing to CAF supports a community that values the intellectual, social, and emotional development of our children.

We give to CAF to help make a difference in students’ and teachers lives. Supporting our schools is an investment in our community and our children’s well-being.

Donating to CAF is an investment in our children’s education and wellness needs that are not funded by the state.

We donate to CAF because the state doesn’t fully fund the amazing programs that inspire and challenge Carlmont students. Without CAF, our children wouldn’t get the state-of-the-art education they deserve.

Our CAF donation goes toward the enrichment of students and improves technology in classrooms. Students have access to a variety of programs /opportunities (such as the Marketing Pathway, Instrumental Music, Engineering and Green technology) that are made possible. Pay it forward to benefit the next generation. 

Donating to CAF is an investment in giving all our children access to programs, resources, and opportunities that support their academic and personal growth during these critical years.

We are grateful to live in a community of like-minded families that pitch in every year so that our students can be in smaller sized classes, have ample classes to choose from – including an incredible instrumental music program – and many other extras like adequate counseling support.

CAF truly represents a commitment to helping students become well-rounded individuals.

We view our yearly CAF donations as an investment in the future of our children and the vibrant Carlmont community.

As advocates of public school who want our children to get a great education, we see supplementary funding like CAF as a necessity. In a perfect world, California would provide enough funding for all public schools to thrive, but we don’t live in a perfect world.

We donate to CAF because it provides such important additional support to Carlmont programs not fully funded by the state.
