What to Know Before Your Student’s First Counselor Meeting

Carlmont 9th grade families, did you know that starting in March your student will be meeting with a counselor to choose their classes for sophomore year? The Carlmont Academic Foundation (CAF), in partnership with the counseling department, would like to help provide insight into this process. Each year in mid-March, CAF hosts an evening for current freshman parents with Carlmont’s administration. Please join Carlmont us for a discussion of what class choices are available at Carlmont, class requirement information your student needs to keep in mind, UC and CSU requirements, and how your student can prepare for their scheduling meeting with their counselor.
